SMW Wire Rope Hoist Gen 2 Manual
July 24, 2024
The SMW Series adds modern technology on a proven wire rope hoist frame. It’s ready for all day everyday use in your manufacturing plant.
While many wire rope hoists have upgrades and add-ons for a scale or flange width adder, the SMW Series includes them as the standard.
The 3" display lets the operator know at a glance how many pounds the hoist is carrying. This adds safety and provides the ability to calculate load weights for freight companies.
The Danfoss Variable Frequency Drive regulates the motor’s speed and torque, enabling smooth acceleration and deceleration for smoothly and safely lifting and moving loads.
The rope drum is deeply grooved with stainless steel tube and a high tensile rope guide for optimum line arrangement, a greater safety factor, and a longer life.
It's tried and tested for all day, everyday operation.
While most WRHs require an upgrade for beam sizes of 25", the SMW Series includes it standard.
All hoists feature a heavy duty 2-speed lifting motor designed for long component life and ease of routine service.
The 3 Ton to 10 ton SMW series wire rope hoists meet the ASME H4 duty rating.
The 15 Ton SMW series wire rope hoist meets the ASME H3 duty rating.
